B.Sc (Hons) in Psychology, Master in Arts (Applied Psychology)

Nurfadhilah is a graduate of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) programme, specializing in counseling psychology.

In 2009, she topped her class in the International Islamic University Malaysia, obtaining a Bachelor Degree of Human Sciences in Psychology with First Class Honours, and a minor in Islamic Revealed Knowledge. Nurfadhilah has gained more than six years of experience in government, hospital and social service settings. She has a solid foundation in counseling children and youths, and in imparting parenting skills. Nurfadhilah is a certified religious teacher under the Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS), and is able to implement religious guidance and insights into counseling.

Nurfadhilah synthesizes the counselling approaches she has learnt to suit her clients’ needs. She adopts both the Islamic and modern sciences approach of counselling to bring a better understanding of the human self, and help to formulate and plan effective intervention. She is informed in various counseling modalities including cognitive behavior therapy, existential therapy, systemic family therapy and Adlerian therapy.
