General Family Medicine Services
We provide the full range of general medical services for the neighbourhood. We are able to treat children, adults as well as the elderly.
Health Screening Medical
This is usually carried out annually or biennially and involves the taking of a detailed medical history, investigations and a thorough physical examination. The investigations can include blood tests, a resting electrocardiogram, stool and urine tests. Depending on the medical history and physical examination results, other optional tests may be recommended. When the results of the tests are ready, the examining doctor will discuss them with you and suggest treatment, if required.
Immunisations
Prophylactic immunisations against Diptheria, Polio, Whooping cough, German Measles, Mumps, Measles, Cholera, Typhoid, Hepatitis A and B, Chickenpox and Meningitis are available. Anti-malaria medication is also available. Pre-travel advice and consultation is available. Please come at least 2 weeks before your trip.
Minor Surgery
Toilet and suture, wound dressing, excision of lumps and bumps, cysts and avulsion of ingrown nails can be performed. Other services include ear syringing, curetting of chalazion and styes, removal of foreign bodies, electro-cautery of warts, skin tags and other skin conditions and intralesional injections for keloids and tendonitis conditions.
Cancer Screening
PAP smears, breast and rectal examinations can be performed. Additional blood tests for tumour markers can also be performed.
