In Singapore since 2009 Dr Alex Dovban treats periodontal patients as well as cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry patients. His surgical expertise includes implant and other oral surgeries. His philosophy of holistic dental treatment focuses on the long term stability and predictability of treatment outcomes with the most acceptable biological, aesthetic and functional solutions.
Prior to moving to Singapore, Dr Dovban worked for a couple of years in Australia where he was the ‘Flying Dentist’ for the Australian government in the Northern Territory, providing a wide range of dental restorative and surgical treatments to medically compromised patients at the remote aboriginal communities.
Dr Dovban is a past Member of International Team of Implantology (ITI) and served on the board of the Singapore Periodontal Society as Honorary Secretary and Treasurer. His main research and clinical interest areas are bone regeneration, dental implants and periodontal plastic surgery.
Dr Dovban speaks many languages, including Spanish, Russian, German and some Bahasa Indonesia.
