Dr Alvin Yeo is a dean’s lister from NUS and graduated with a BDS and the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery book prize. Having personal experience of a molar root canal treatment, wisdom teeth removal, and two dental implant placements in his mouth, Dr Yeo is able to understand patients’ perspectives and anxieties during dental treatment. This led him to further his interest in oral surgery, especially in the field of Implant Dentistry to be best-abled to serve his patients in restoring what is lost to improve function and aesthetics.
His motto is that “a visit to the dentist need not be distressing, and looking and eating well does not mean needing to go through a great amount of suffering”.
Dr Yeo has served in the national healthcare group, school dental services, and Jurong Medical Centre (Jurong Health) where he spent time pursuing his interest in Implant Dentistry, Wisdom Teeth Surgery, Bruxism Splint Therapy, Root Canal Treatments, and also Aesthetic works (Veneers and Tooth Whitening). His interest in providing holistic treatment and improving patient’s smile also motivated him to take up a 1-year course on Orthodontics. In his personal time, he enjoys outdoor family time with his wife and daughter, and does swimming and yoga as a hobby.
