Dental Specialist- Endodontist
Dr Andy Lim is a registered Dental Specialist in Root Canal Treatments with the Singapore Dental Council. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore in 2002, and went on to obtain the Master of Dental Surgery specialising in Endodontics. He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) since 2007.
As an Endodontist, he believes in being as highly skilled as he can be, and to provide a comfortable treatment experience for the patient. Apart from conventional Root Canal Treatment, Dr Andy Lim has special interests in the management of cracked teeth and dental traumatology.
He has had a wide range of experiences working in the dental field, these include having practised previously at the National University Hospital and the Endodontics Unit at the National Dental Centre; having teaching appointments as a lecturer and examiner at ITE for the NITEC Dental Surgery Assistant course, as well as a part-time tutor at the Faculty of Dentistry in NUS; having presented and lectured in both local and international meetings; and having published papers in the International Endodontic Journal.
He is an active committee member of the Society of Endodontists Singapore and a current member of Singapore Dental Association.
