Dr Angela Hwee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor degree in Medicine. She spent several years training in various surgical departments and later worked as a health screening physician, before her interest in anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation brought her into the field of aesthetic medicine.
To keep up with the ever advancing field of aesthetic medicine, Dr Hwee regularly attends courses and workshops to ensure she provides the most up to date treatments for her patients.
Dr Hwee firmly believes that the key to helping skin achieve its optimal condition and look its best lies in choosing the right products and using them properly in one’s regular beauty regime. This will also increase the effectiveness of treatment procedures. It is her philosophy that a good complexion reflects inner health and is a marker of true beauty. She strongly believes that acne and hyperpigmentation are serious issues that need to be resolved to restore one’s self-confidence. Another interest of hers is Facial Rejuvenation as more cutting edge technology emerges to restore one’s youthful contours through minimally invasive methods.
On a more personal note, Dr Angela Hwee is a mother of 2. She works hard to find a good work life balance so that she can spend enough time with her 2 young girls. She was an avid canoeist and dragonboater in her school days. Nowadays she practises pilates regularly and enjoys travelling and checking out foodie joints.
