Dr Jude Lee graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1997. He completed his basic surgical training and obtained his MRCS (Edinburgh) in 2003 and Master of Medicine in Surgery the following year.
Dr Jude Lee did his advanced surgical training in TTSH and NUH, and in 2007, he was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, FRCS (Edinburgh). In 2009, through the Higher Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award, Dr Jude Lee travelled to Japan to pursue a one-year fellowship in sub-specialty training in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery at Fujita Health University Hospital, under Professor Ichiro Uyama.
Dr Jude Lee was a consultant surgeon at KTPH, where he led the Upper GI Service and Minimally Invasive surgery. He was core faculty member in the NHG-AHPL Surgical Residency Programme, as well as core tutor for the transitional year medical education residency programme. He is currently still principal investigator of the AHCC06 trial, a multicenter, open label, RCT comparing SIRT and Sorafenib in locally advanced HCC. Dr Jude Lee is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA), Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA), and faculty member of Asia-Pacific Gastroesophageal Cancer Congress.
Dr Jude Lee in his free time, volunteers his services as an executive member of the grassroots society in his constituency; as well as take part in disaster missions as a member of Singapore Red Cross Society. He also sits on the school advisory committee of Haig Girls’ School.
