Dr Kelvin Chua started his surgical training in Australia, teaching in hospitals there, and spent time in dermatology and surgical rotations.
Since then, Dr Chua has garnered over 11 years of experience in aesthetic medicine – with over hundreds of liposuction procedures and thousands of botox and filler treatments under his belt. Dr Chua has established for himself a reputation for non-invasive facial contouring techniques using BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM® as well as liposculpturing techniques in body contouring procedures. Dr Chua also specialises in threadlifting, Thermage CPT, Ulthera, Fractional CO2 laser, Radiofrequency, hair loss management & treatment, and moles and lump removal.
With a passion in teaching, Dr Chua is well regarded by his peers in the industry. He is a certified trainer for the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAM) and is a mentor to many aspiring aesthetic doctors such as Dr Gabriel Wong who joined him at SL Clinic. Dr Chua can often be found featured in the press such as NuYou, Simply Her, Women’s Weekly, TODAY, Straits Times and Lianhe Wanbao, who look to him for expert advice on cosmetic and skin issues.
