Dr. Lew Kok Keong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1982 under the well-regarded Public Service Commission Scholarship, before receiving another prestigious scholarship to pursue his Master degree in Orthodontics in Adelaide. In 1992, he received the highly respected Fellowship of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh degree without any examination, as an acknowledgement for his vast contribution to Dentistry.
Apart from authoring many articles, which have been published in international dental journals, Dr. Lew is also frequently invited to speak at numerous conferences worldwide. He was also cited in “International Who’s Who of Professionals” as a “dental expert in orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry who is the secret behind the smiles of many Asian celluloid personalities”. Dr .Lew has served as the Past-President of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) as well as Vice-Chairman of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore).

刘医生当年荣获备受瞩目的公共服务委员会奖学金而就读新加坡国立大学，并于1982年取得牙医外科学士学位，大学期间获奖无数的他，尽显个人出类拔萃的才华。此后他又荣获另一项著名的奖学金而赴阿德莱德攻读研究所，并于1987年取得齿颚矫正的硕士学位。1992年，他无需通过任何考试而荣获备受推崇的牙医外科奖学金——爱丁堡皇家外科医生学院，以表扬他在牙医界所作出的巨大贡献。
作为一名横跨普通科及专科领域的医学科学院院士，刘医生曾担任本区域以及澳洲一些学士和硕士学位考试的校外考试委员。此外，他还当选为世界齿颚矫正联合会的院士。他也撰写过多篇学术文章，发表于国际权威期刊，并获邀在世界各地的许多重要会议中担任主讲者。
刘医生已名列“国际名人录”榜上，被誉为“齿颚矫正与牙齿美容的牙科专家，是许多亚洲式赛璐珞（celluloid personalities ）个性美的微笑背后的秘密”。他目前正在新加坡黄金地段经营一家成功的牙科诊所。在1994年全面转投私人领域之前，刘医生既是国立大学医院的顾问，也是新加坡国立大学齿颚矫正硕士课程的联合主任。自1994年投入亚洲巡回授课以来，L刘医生已经在印度尼西亚、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国、香港及澳洲等多个国家，为专科医生及普通开业医生主讲齿颚矫正课程。他渊博的专业知识、丰富的临床经验以及深入浅出传授知识的独特能力，迄今已惠及数以百计的牙医。他亦曾担任过齿颚矫正学会（新加坡）主席以及医学科学院（新加坡）副主席。
他目前是位于新加坡黄金购物区心脏地带的东陵牙科医务所的临床主任，并在其多元专科的实业中创设了数个专科医生部门，汇集齿颚矫正专科医生、牙髓病与口腔颌面外科医生，以及在患者的外形美观上扮演关键重要角色的牙齿美容医生。
传道授业，不遗馀力——对执教充满热诚的他，希望凭借本身累积多年的齿颚矫正知识，尤其是医治亚洲患者方面的实务经验，能令更多专科医生及普通开业医生受益无穷。
