Dr. Tan Min Seet graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore,1995. He went on to specialize in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and obtained his Master’s degree in 1998.
His surgical training ranged from minor procedures like wisdom tooth operations, to complex cases including reconstruction, tumour resection and orthognathic surgery (correction of jaw discrepancies). The training also entailed trauma management in the maxillofacial region in the A & E Department. He was conferred Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons, (England), 1998.
While in private practice, he took special interest in dental implantology and went on to be certified by the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA) in San Francisco, California as an implant trainer, 2004.
Dr Tan is a member of the Scientific Program Advisory Committee in Boston, Chicago and he shares his vast experience in implantology when he conducts courses attended by local and foreign dentists. His unrelenting pursuit is concrete proof of his efforts to elevate implantology to the next era.
