Dr Timothy Lim BSc, MSc, DC, is a trained and Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic in the United States. He also has a Degree in Medical Science and a Masters Degree in Microbiology from Clemson University. His three-year Research thesis was based on the starvation of bacteria over time and its genetically modified ability to break down toxic substances. Upon returning home to Singapore, Dr Lim first started worked as a Microbiologist for 10 years in multinational companies in Baxter Healthcare and Nalco International before pursuing his chiropractic doctorate in USA.
In 2009, Dr Timothy, started Lifesystems Chiropractic in Singapore. His holistic multi-systems approach to help his clients solve health problems is what sets him apart from most doctors. Although many problems may find its etiology in the musculo-skeletal system, Dr Lim believes the cause can be neurological imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, chemical toxicities, infections and even unresolved mental or emotional stress. The chiropractic techniques Dr Timothy uses may involve Quantum Neurology, Gonstead, Koren Specific Technique, Chiropractic Neurology, and Applied Kinesiology.
Dr Lim is a Registered Member of The Chiropractic Association (Singapore). Dr Tim is also licensed to practice Physiotherapy in the United States. Together with many techniques he is trained in, Dr Timothy Lim is also a Keiser Training Certified Doctor called Medical Strengthening Therapy. He is also the only Certified doctor in a unique form of cranial adjustment known as Functional Cranial Release in Singapore. His patients are assured to enjoy the highest level of service, quality and ethics available. Dr Lim’s passion is not only to help his patient get better from their condition but to teach them rehabilitation practices and exercise principles to stay healthy. Born in Singapore, Dr Lim is bilingual and able to speak to his patients in fluent English and Mandarin.
To help promote the prevention of work related ergonomic injuries, Dr Timothy has been invited as lecturer by government agencies and corporation including Health Science Authority, National Dental Center, Maritime and Port of Authority Singapore, Ministry of Health, National University of Singapore, National Heritage Board, Samsung and Apex Pharmacy.
