Lisa Van Der Heijden is a Senior Clinical Psychologist, who gained experience in mental health clinics in the Netherlands with children and adolescents. Next to her work as Psychologist, she was a teacher and scientist at the Clinical Developmental Psychology Department of the University of Amsterdam. Her expertise includes conducting assessments/diagnosis and treatments for children/adolescents with social, emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties. Lisa works client-centered, pragmatic and has a comprehensive approach.
She completed two bachelors and one master at the University of Amsterdam: Bachelor Clinical Psychology (2008), Bachelor Clinical Developmental Psychology (2010) and Cum Laude the Honors Master Clinical Developmental Psychology (2011).

She has a lot of experience with writing therapy (WriteJunior), COMET for Self-esteem, Planning & Organization training for ADHD and CBT for anxiety and depression.
She can also provide psychological assessments for children and adolescents including intelligence, achievement and personality testing as well as diagnostic testing. She is qualified to use numerous tests for example IQ-tests (WISC), ADOS for autism and TEA-Ch for ADHD.
She provides assessments and therapies in both English and Dutch language.
