The NUH Dialysis Centre (NUHDC) is one of the satellite specialist outpatient centres set up outside NUH to bring greater convenience to our patients. Set up in 1987, it uses a unique patient-centred care model for outpatient Haemodialysis treatments. This includes services such as on-site specialist clinic sessions, renal nursing care and renal dietetics that are coupled with patient social support networks so as to satisfy patients’ needs in a holistic and seamless manner.
NUHDC is licensed by MOH to operate 12 Haemodialysis Stations that has a capacity to handle up to 72 patients per week.
All patients’ admissions to the centre are assessed by our Director of Haemodialysis Services. Our Consultant-in-Charge will review all cases at least bi-monthly during the weekly to fortnightly clinic sessions at the centre.
