Thomson Fertility Centre was the first private facility in Singapore to offer In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) treatment with cutting edge technology imported from the Assisted Conception Unit at Kings College, London.
Our one-stop centre offers a full spectrum of highly personalised care, support and fertility treatment options encompassing the following:
- Clinical services including investigations of male and female infertility with graduated treatment options such as Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), frozen-thawed embryo transfers, assisted hatching, blastocyst culture and in-vitro egg maturation.
- Andrology services to help azoospermic males including Microsurgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration and Testicular Sperm Extraction
- Specialised laboratory services supporting all gynaecologists which include semen analysis, sperm preparation for IUI and sperm banking for husbands of patients. Andrology services include sperm preparation for IUI, sperm freezing and storage for husbands who are not available during treatment or husbands with sperm retrieved from Epididymis or testis or for men with cancer before cancer treatment. A dedicated diagnostic lab provides services on semen analysis and related tests.

Having treated over 5,000 couples since it was established, the Centre has enabled many couples who had little chance of conceiving, the opportunity to experience the joy of parenthood.
TFC believes in a holistic management of infertility. Good reproductive surgery allows couples to achieve natural pregnancy when IVF has failed. For e.g, Mrs X had 2 failed cycles of IVF. However, she got pregnant 2-3 months after Dr Loh removed her fibroids laparascopically.
